Cindy Sheehan has been touting that she will not pay her taxes for the rest of her life since "My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me (for back taxes) and we'll put this war on trial."

What she forgot to tell the public is that she did not pay taxes for 1996-1998 and has tax liens against her home. It is a shame to use a dead hero to take a stand against the United States and paying her fair share.
She is trying to make herself more important than she is, but cannot stay focused on her message. What does Israel have to do with her wanting to meet with the President? The man she refers to as the “Disconnected One,” or "maniac" and a "lying bastard." She seems to have issues with authority and anyone who does not agree with her. For example, her husband of 28 years, Patrick, filed for divorce August 12th because he did not agree with her activities. Her son, Andy, implored her to, "to come home because you need to support us at home."

Cindy will not be going home, because she has nothing to return to. She has invested in nothing, but herself, and it has cost her everything. This would be sad except for the fact that she has aligned herself with the staunchest Bush haters she can find, has a two book deal with Open Media, and has the nerve to be a 501 (C)(3) organization. Is she for real? According to the IRS Website, her organization does not qualify for this. It states IRC section 501(c) (3) organizations are prohibited from engaging in political campaign activities and may conduct only a limited amount of legislative (lobbying) activities. Why should Americans pay for her organization to be hateful toward our country? When she pays the bills she owes then she can talk about what taxpayers pay for.

In her response to being arrest Monday, Cindy, seemed to take aim at the whole Bush administration by calling them criminals. She received a ticket for $75 for demonstrating without a permit which she says, “I am certain that I won’t pay it.” She then goes on to ask for lawyers to help her challenge an unconstitutional law. One thing about Sheehan is that she is consistent in her refusal to pay anybody in the government for anything. So, if someone robs her, do not send the police, she did not pay for them. If her house is on fire, let it burn, she did not pay for the service, and if she is picked up again for anything, keep her until she pays America what she owes.

Sheehan Quotes
“I now know he’s sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he’s sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he’s a man of faith.”
