Criticism Over Information

Writers take a lot of hits when they write opinion pieces. My last piece on Ann Coulter seems to have been a huge issue. FYI Coulter does not have a radio show. I guess she is on the radio and TV so much that I misunderstood. I apologize for my error.

Realistically, if Ann felt angry at the students of UConn for the pie episode from the first time she visited, then what law said she had to go back? She made a choice.

Why do people overlook WHAT she said in order to make points? There is generally no defense of the comment from moral, upstanding people.

As for my writing style. I am the worst at self-editing. My Professors said I write like I talk. That is probably true. As for the inner-city schooling, your tax dollars paid for it.

I deal with the things people say. I try to make sure it is context, so that I am not distorting it. Ann said what she said and Pat Robertson said what he said, and there are tapes to prove it.

Part of the greatness of America is the right to free speech, and just like I used mine, I encourage you to keep using yours. I don't care if you disagree with me, that's human nature, but debate the issues, because I am not stupid as one writer wrote.

As for my feelings of Ann Coulter. I think she is good at what she does, but I do have some concerns about how she does it. Anger rarely produces anything positve. She has a message and I would love to hear it, but I am not her audience. She wants the angry American and I am not.

Indifference, to me, is the epitome of evil. Elie Wiesel

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said (almost) speak your truth boldly with hard words no matter if the truth you say today is the opposite of the truth you said yesterday.
